Decorating a Historic Rental : Bathroom Edition

After months of mood boards, I'm finally ready to pull the trigger for our bathroom redesign! Mind you, we are renting our apartment and 'renovations' are not an option. No new fixtures - no painting. Luckily, the bones of our historic apartment are pretty darn sturdy and we can totally transform the room for $250. (My original math was $180...but let's be real, I know I will need some plants.)
